Club Night 3 Results Online Now

Sat - 10/10/15

Club night results for Week 3 are now online here.

Nominations for Week 4 are now open here.  Please submit any chages prior to 10pm Thursday.  Distance events at the start of the night require a separate nomination each week, and will not roll forward.

Thanks to all our trialling swimmers last night.  The club offers a 2 week free trial; all friends and trialling members are very welcome to return next week for another swim.

Thanks also to our Australian Dolphin team member, Keryn McMaster, and Junior Dolphin Carla Buchanan.  It was great to have the girls come along to see the Stingrays spirit, and how good were they in the pool?!

Next week is our Halloween club night!  Our creepy committee will get into the spirit of fright night when the pool becomes haunted with ghoulish fun for the kids. Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble; swimmers turn to make a tumble. Don't miss trick or treat night!

Next week we are kicking off our adult races with a 50m freestyle event. Nominations can be entered by completing an online nomination form, just like you would for the kids, and select the "50m Freestyle - Adult Race" event at the bottom of the form.  Adult races are available for parents, grandparents & friends alike; and are for swimmers of all abilities. Dive in and give it a go!

Nominations are now open for the Bronte Barratt Shield on Saturday 14th November.  This meet is suitable for all ages, for children swimming 25m and 50m events. Simply select the Shield on the club night nomination form here.  The meet flyer can be found here.  The distance that each child will swim is set by age.  Children from 6 & Under to 9 years (as at 14 November 2015) will swim 25m in each stroke.  Swimmers aged 10+ will swim 50m in each stroke.  Children do not have to swim every stroke, and children do not have to be swimming that distance at club nights.  Relays will be formed using club night personal best times.  We will endeavour to place as many children as possible into relay teams.
